AIU Health Science Centers for Health Professionals offers technical programs leading to Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in the following fields:
- Biomedical Engineering
- Medical Laboratory Technician
- Radiology Technician
- Dental Assistant
College of Health Professionals provide medical and health programs based on curriculum recommended by respective US professional councils and West African Health Organization (WAHO) for accreditation.
We are committed to helping our students succeed in their education. The aim of each program is :

To assume responsibilities as competent health professionals
- To make independent decisions in difficult situations and to protect the rights of and facilitate individuals and groups in pursuit of health.
- To function in the hospital, community health services, and conduct research studies in the areas of their specialty.
- To assume the role of teachers, supervisor & manager in clinical/public health settings.
- To assess health status, identify needs, plan, implement and evaluate care for patients/clients that contribute to the health of individuals, families and communities.
- To demonstrate competency in techniques of their specialty based on international concepts and principles.
- To demonstrate skills in communication and interpersonal relationship.
- To demonstrate leadership qualities and decision - making abilities in various situations.
- To demonstrate skills in teaching to individuals and groups in community health settings.
- To practice ethical values in their personal and professional life.
- To recognize the need for continued learning for their personal and professional development.
